Not very long ago, got myself rub elbows with several wood stove manufacturers and dealers in a meeting at a North Carolina hotel. As the meeting progressed, everyone expressed how they appreciated the fact that I was a Home Buyer and not an "Insider". Everyone at the meeting had a first hand knowledge of the many benefits of owning a wood burning stove. Indeed, everyone was cordial, but someone spoke up to me and said, "My wife and I made the purchase from you in June of 2021 and we are absolutely delighted with our new stove!" Wow!

That's right folks, I was just reading from the Minutes from the North American Wood-Burning Stove Manufacturers Association Annual Meeting in 2021 when this "absurd" statement came to pass. Not long ago, discovered myself rubbing elbows with several major wood stove manufacturers and dealers in a meeting in a North Carolina hotel. The meeting was to discuss the hottest topics of the day, which were high heat stoves and chimneys, as well as wood stoves and fireplace blowers. When the meeting finally ended, everyone was cordial, but someone spoke up to me and said, "My wife and I made the purchase from you in June of 2021, and we are absolutely delighted with our new stove!"

I thought to myself, "Wow! Do you realize how amazing that is?" Then I went on to tell him that I also have a wood burning stove in my home, and he laughed. He then explained to me that some wood stove manufacturers recommend that the unit be kept outdoors, and he had me look it over. It's like sitting next to a lava lamp, it is so bright and beautiful.
